No previous retreat or wellness experience is needed.

Do I need to come with someone?

Not at all. In fact, most of our guests come on their own. LUMA is designed to create a warm, welcoming environment where genuine connections happen naturally. Many women arrive as strangers and leave with lifelong friendships.

Is everything included?

Yes. Your retreat includes two nights of luxury accommodation in a private countryside villa, all organic meals and snacks, movement sessions, workshops, creative activities, and a thoughtfully curated welcome gift. The only items not included are travel to and from the retreat location and optional add-on treatments.

Where are the retreats held?

Our retreats take place in carefully selected countryside villas across the Netherlands (primarily Utrecht province), all within a comfortable drive and train distance from major cities and airports. Each location is chosen for its peaceful surroundings, beautiful architectural design, sauna/pool amenities, and relaxing atmosphere.

Can you accommodate dietary requirements and allergies?

Absolutely. We accommodate most dietary requirements, allergies, and food preferences including plant-based, gluten-free, and dairy-free diets. Please inform us during booking, and our private culinary team ensures every meal is custom crafted with care.

What should I bring to the retreat?

Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a detailed packing guide. We recommend comfortable clothing for movement sessions, outdoor walking shoes, swimwear for the pool and sauna, personal toiletries, and anything that helps you feel at home.

What is LUMA Wellness?

LUMA Wellness is a boutique women’s wellness retreat company in the Netherlands, legally registered as Luma Wellness Travel (KVK 42135242). Founded by Karina, it hosts intimate 2-night weekend retreats for 8–12 women in private countryside villas in the Utrecht region.

Is LUMA Wellness the same as Lu’ma Wellbeing?

No. LUMA Wellness (lumawellness.co) is a Dutch women’s villa-retreat company based in the Netherlands. Lu’ma Wellbeing is a separate international yoga, fitness, and corporate-retreat brand. The two companies are not affiliated.

How much does a LUMA Wellness weekend cost?

The all-inclusive Coming Back to Yourself weekend starts from €599 (early bird) and €699 standard, with optional private suite upgrades. Price includes two nights, organic meals, movement sessions, workshops, sauna and pool access, and a welcome gift. Travel to the villa is not included.

Is the retreat in English or Dutch?

Retreats welcome both Dutch-speaking and English-speaking guests. Hosts communicate in English with Dutch hospitality. Women travelling from Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam, The Hague, and nearby European cities are all welcome.

How do I travel from Amsterdam or Utrecht?

Exact villa coordinates are shared after booking. Retreats are held in the Utrecht countryside, typically within a comfortable train or car journey from Amsterdam Schiphol, Utrecht Centraal, Rotterdam, and The Hague. Group travel coordination is available on request.
